About Charles

New York born and Jersey raised, Charles grew up in Paramus, NJ with his two brothers and six sisters. He married Donna Damiano and fathered four boys (Jeffrey, Michael, Jonathan, & Matthew).

Charles worked in food services doing corporate catering at Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. In his younger years he worked as a lifeguard, Burger King, The Mexican Place (The Toxic Avenger was filmed here), and for many years he delivered newspapers early Sunday mornings for extra cash.

Charles coached or managed nearly every sports team his boys were on throughout his lifetime. His coaching claim to fame was leading the Hawks to their 16-0 championship season in the Saddle Brook recreational basketball league. He was very involved with the Saddle Brook Little League, which is where he made many of his longtime friends.
